About 2023 Provo Pioneer Day Extravaganza in Provo, Utah

The 2023 Provo Pioneer Day Extravaganza is happening on July 22nd at Kiwanis Park in Provo, Utah!

What better way to celebrate our pioneers and their customs than by immersing ourselves in their simple yet fascinating way of life? This extravaganza promises to be a delightful journey back in time as we indulge ourselves in an array of activities and entertainment.

You’ll get to try your hand at some of the skills that the pioneers used to keep their households running, like candle dipping, butter churning, and woodworking.

I can’t tell you how much fun it is to learn how to make things from scratch and feel like a true pioneer.

Of course, an extravaganza wouldn’t be complete without some epic tunes! They’ve got a group of local musicians to fill the park with melodies that celebrate the true pioneer spirit.

The Children’s Entrepreneurial Market is another exciting attraction at this event. Our little pioneers will have a chance to showcase their homemade crafts, yummy treats, and creative services.

It’s a chance to support these amazing young minds and even find a special treasure to take home as a keepsake of this event. You never know what kind of creativity these young pioneers will have in store!

Here’s an opportunity for you to be a part of something special and contribute to our community. Provo Parks & Recreation is looking for volunteers to help make this extravaganza a resounding success.

When you volunteer for the later shift, they’ll give you a $5 gift card as a token of appreciation. How awesome is that?

So, if you’re eager to be a part of this event and give back to your community, sign up now! Head over to the Provo Parks & Recreation Facebook page and find the signup link.

About the author of Move to Provo Utah Website

Katerina Gasset

When I moved here I was blessed to have my daughter to help with different things you need to know when you move to a new place. I had background from living here before but things have changed a lot too since the '80s.

We were able to get all the good places to eat down fast - since she knows all that and we have a lot of the same likes in food. But things like how to turn on my electricity or what power company services my home... well... I was at a total loss!

I know that other people moving to Provo don't always have family here to guide and help them. And most people don't have a real estate agent who gives them a welcome package on all the important numbers and places they need to know.

My goal is for this website to be your go to resource for everything you need to know before, during, and after you move here to Provo, Utah. I want you to have the best experience and love living here as much as I do
