The holiday season is coming soon, and there’s an excellent way to start celebrating in Provo, Utah. It’s an event called “Christmas Bells Are Swingin’!” On December 13, 2023, there will be an exceptional musical performance at the Concert Hall in the BYU Music Building.
What makes this event awesome? It’s all about a famous musical group called the Boston Brass teaming up with some talented local musicians to create a big band with lots of brass instruments like trumpets and trombones. They’ll be playing all those classic Christmas songs that make you want to sing along and dance.
Boston Brass has been making music together since 1986, and their goal is to give you a unique musical experience. They can play different types of music, like classical, jazz, and their original brass pieces.
They’ve performed all over the United States and in over 30 countries. They don’t just stick to their group of five musicians; they also like to collaborate with orchestras, concert bands, and even create new brass music.
They’re also big on teaching music and travel worldwide to give music lessons at famous places like The Juilliard School.
