This is only the second time these two teams will battle it on the football field. Last time, back in 2016, BYU dominated with a final score of 37-7.
The Thunderbirds have been active in college football since 1963 and have an impressive record, including four conference titles. Two of those titles were won when BYU’s current assistant head coach, Ed Lamb, was their head coach.
Lamb, who led the Thunderbirds from 2008-2015, was a two-time finalist for the Eddie Robinson Award for national coach of the Year.
