To catch the full spectacle\, be sure to arrive at 6:00 am to see the balloons as they start to rise. \nAn exciting feature of the festival is the Hare and the Hound competition. We’ll have marching bands\, floats\, giant balloons\, equestrian entries\, and performances by local and national talents. We’re also here to honor our heroes in the military and first emergency services.  \nParade Route:  \nThe entertainment parade starts at 8:00 a.m.\, followed by the Grand Parade at 9:00 a.m.  \nWe’ll follow the usual route\, starting at 1000 N. University Ave.\, then going south to 200 S.\, turning east to 200 E.\, then north to Center St.\, and finally turning east again\, finishing at 900 E.  \nTheme and Rules:  \nIf you want to join the parade\, make sure your entry aligns with the America’s Freedom Festival mission statement: “To celebrate\, teach\, honor\, and strengthen the traditional American values of God\, family\, freedom\, and country.” \nYou can express these values through music\, displays\, dance\, and other creative expressions.
