About 2024 Pioneer Days at This Is The Place Heritage Park
Join us at This Is The Place Heritage Park in Salt Lake City for a vibrant celebration of Utah’s Pioneer Day! This annual event combines our everyday attractions with special activities to commemorate the founding of Utah.
Experience the thrill of our Candy Cannon, showering Main Street with old-fashioned taffy. Engage in a variety of games and create lasting family memories.
Enjoy classic activities like gold panning, pony rides, train rides, and arts and crafts projects throughout the day. Indulge in Brigham’s Donuts at the Social Hall and test your skills at the Watermelon Eating Contest.
Relax and cool down with a refreshing treat from Flavor Burst Ice cream or in the Irrigation Station. Lunch options are available at the Huntsman Grill.
