The BYU softball team has recently joined the Big 12 Conference, their fourth conference since departing from the Mountain West Conference in 2011. Over the past decade, the Cougars have dominated the West Coast Conference, securing eight conference titles during their tenure.
Head Coach Gordon Eakin will guide the BYU Softball program into its 22nd season. Coach Eakin is a prominent figure in collegiate softball, with over 800 career wins. Under his leadership, the Cougars have made 16 appearances in the NCAA Tournament, including the NCAA Super Regional in 2010.
