‘LIFE’ Gallery Talk with Liz Donakey is scheduled for Wednesday, January 17, 2024, from 12:10 p.m. to 12:40 p.m.
The ‘LIFE’ Gallery Talk with Liz Donakey is set to take place at the BYU Museum of Art, at Campus Dr in Provo, Utah.
The BYU Museum of Art is hosting a Gallery Talk that dives into the past using pictures from ‘LIFE’ Magazine. Six women photographers (Margaret Bourke-White, Hansel Mieth, Marie Hansen, Nina Leen, Martha Holmes, and Lisa Larsen) took pictures from the 1930s to the 1970s. You’re going to hear all about their stories!
This event is perfect for people who love art and history! It’s a short, fun session where you can find new favorite pictures, ask any questions, and understand why these photos are significant.
Everybody is welcome! Email liz_donakey@byu.edu two weeks before the event for those inquiring about ASL interpretation services.
