The early 20th century was marked by shifts in religious, philosophical, and artistic thought in Germany. German Expressionist artists of this era found themselves drawn to biblical subjects and religious themes.
The exhibition will have prints by renowned artists such as Max Beckmann, Lovis Corinth, and others. These prints will help us understand how these artists used their art to deal with their feelings and to connect with their faith.
