Lights, camera, action! Join us for an exhilarating Teen Film Contest Screening and Awards Ceremony at the Provo Library’s Shaw Programming Room #260 on Thursday, July 25, from 7:00pm to 8:00pm.
Contest Details
Calling all aspiring filmmakers aged 12-18! Submit your original short film with the theme “Adventure” by July 14th for a chance to win a $100 Amazon gift card. Rules and submission information available below.
Submission Guidelines
- Eligibility: Ages 12-18, with a valid Provo City Library card.
- Contest Period: June 1, 2024 – July 14, 2024.
- Submission Requirements: Original film, 1-5 minutes long, suitable for all ages, uploaded to YouTube, and complete the online submission form.
Filming at the Library
If filming at the Library, adhere to guidelines for a smooth experience.
Judging Criteria
Films will be evaluated by Library staff based on theme, editing, production design, sound mixing, and writing. Audience will vote for the “Viewer’s Choice Award” at the event.
