This event marks the U.S. premiere of Swiss composer Michael Jarrell’s Emergences-Resurgences. This piece was made for Zimmermann and co-commissioned by the Utah Symphony.
The Utah Symphony also welcomes the rising star music director of the Chicago Opera Theatre, Lidiya Yankovskaya. Yankovskaya is celebrated for her expertise in conducting world premieres.
