The production of ‘Gin Mummy’ by Melissa Leilani Larson will take place at the Bastian Theatre, Noorda Center for the Performing Arts in Orem Utah. 


About Gin Mummy by Melissa Leilani Larson in Orem Utah 

Utah Valley University School of the Arts will present “Gin Mummy” from March 1st to March 9th, 2024, at the Noorda Center for the Performing Arts. 

“Gin Mummy” is a drawing-room comedy written by Melissa Leilani Larson, a mixed-race Filipino American writer based in Salt Lake City. Gin Mummy follows the story of a young Victorian aristocrat torn between what she wants and what her family expects of her. On top of that, there’s a mummy involved!

“Gin Mummy” was first produced at Mesa Community College in December 2021. 

ASL interpretation will be provided for the performance on Wednesday, March 6 at 7:30 p.m., sponsored by the UVU Accessibility Office.
