About Guys Read Book Club: Scary Stories for Young Foxes in Provo, Utah
We’ll read ‘Scary Stories for Young Foxes’ by Christian Mckay Heidicker at the Provo Library’s Story Room on February 22! It’s open to kids aged 9-12 and their parents or caregivers.
In this book, you’ll follow the brave foxes Mia and Uly on an adventure through fields and forests, where they encounter monstrous creatures. Newbery Honor recipient Christian McKay Heidicker draws inspiration from Bram Stoker, H.P. Lovecraft, and Edgar Allan Poe.
But the event doesn’t end with the book discussion! It is also filled with fun crafts and light refreshments.
Remember to register both the parent/caregiver and the kids attending. After registration, you can pick up a copy of the book at the Children’s Desk. You will need a Provo City Library or a registered Orem Library card to participate.
