The Brigham Young University Museum of Art is hosting a gallery talk called “Maynard Dixon: Searching for a Home” with the wonderful Kitsa Behringer.

As a museum educator and the Internship Coordinator at the BYU Museum of Art, Kitsa Behringer is passionate about art education and making it fun for everyone. 

She has a master’s degree in Museum Education from George Washington University, as well as master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Art History and Curatorial Studies from Brigham Young University. 

She’s the perfect guide if you’re interested in understanding and appreciating art on a deeper level. 

The Gallery Talk will take place on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at 12:10 p.m., and it’s completely free to attend. 

Not only will you learn a lot, but you’ll also get to connect with fellow art enthusiasts. 

And if you need an ASL interpreter, all you have to do is email Kitsa at kbehringer@byu.edu at least two weeks before the event. 

Maynard Dixon is one of the most celebrated artists of the West, and this Gallery Talk is a unique opportunity to gain a deeper appreciation of his work.
