Christmas is just around the corner, and we’re about to kick off the festivities with a Gallery Talk!

Join us for this awesome get-together featuring the super-talented artist Brian Kershisnik right before his iconic masterpiece “Nativity” at the BYU Museum of Art in Provo, Utah.

This Gallery Talk isn’t just free; it’s also open to everyone! So whether you’re an art buff or just someone curious about the story behind the art, you’re invited to be part of this event.

But wait, there’s more! Brian wants to hear from you, especially the kiddos. Come prepared with questions about his work. Here’s your chance to chat with the artist!

Brian’s iconic “Nativity” isn’t just a seasonal treat; it’s a year-round wonder. You can swing by and marvel at it during regular museum hours. The best part? It won’t cost you a dime. So, if you can’t make it to the Gallery Talk, “Nativity” is waiting for you whenever you’re ready.

Brian’s story is pretty fascinating. From searching for his calling to serving as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Denmark, his path was filled with twists and turns.

He eventually found his passion for art during his studies at Brigham Young University, even receiving a grant to study in London for six months. Today, he calls Provo, Utah, his home and continues to create awe-inspiring works.

Gallery Talks at the BYU Museum of Art are special occasions where our expert curators and educators let you in on their secrets. They share their deep insights into their favorite artworks and exhibitions.

So, whether you’re a fan of art, a naturally curious soul, or just someone who wants to feel the holiday vibes, this Nativity Gallery Talk with Brian Kershisnik is the event to catch.

About the author of Move to Provo Utah Website

Katerina Gasset

When I moved here I was blessed to have my daughter to help with different things you need to know when you move to a new place. I had background from living here before but things have changed a lot too since the '80s.

We were able to get all the good places to eat down fast - since she knows all that and we have a lot of the same likes in food. But things like how to turn on my electricity or what power company services my home... well... I was at a total loss!

I know that other people moving to Provo don't always have family here to guide and help them. And most people don't have a real estate agent who gives them a welcome package on all the important numbers and places they need to know.

My goal is for this website to be your go to resource for everything you need to know before, during, and after you move here to Provo, Utah. I want you to have the best experience and love living here as much as I do
