The Orem Arts Council is presenting a free event called “Mad Rush” featuring the incredibly talented Lisa Moore on piano. This is an event that you absolutely cannot miss!
For those of you aren’t familiar with Lisa Moore, she is an internationally renowned pianist based in New York.
She’s been dubbed as the best of contemporary classical musicians by Pitchfork magazine.
Her music has been described as visionary, and she has made a name for herself as an exceptional pianist.
Lisa’s going to grace us with a 60-minute recital featuring works from her recent albums, which were composed by three of America’s top composers.
The performance is set to open with some awe-inspiring works by Oscar-nominated Philip Glass.
Then we get to hear Martin Bresnick’s Ishi’s Song” and Frederic Rzewski’s “Piano Piece no.4.”
The highlight of the evening is definitely going to be Moore’s interpretation of “Mad Rush.”
