Harpist Bridget Jackson will play at Center Court on February 14, 2024!
Bridget Jackson is a talented harpist from Las Vegas who has been playing the harp for 18 years. She learned from great harpists like Tara Ogden Skouson and Janet Peterson while at Utah Valley University (UVU).
At UVU, she performed with the UVU Symphony, Lyceum Philharmonic, UVU Wind Symphony, and UVU Chamber Ensemble. She earned scholarships, making history as the first UVU graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Harp Performance.
Now, Bridget is a professional freelance harpist creating beautiful music for weddings and events. She has a studio in Orem where she teaches harp to students of all ages.
She’s involved in the local music scene, serving as the American Harp Society Utah Chapter secretary. She collaborates with local groups like BalletNEXT, West Valley Symphony, Witness Music, and StringFX.
You might also know Bridget as the harpist for the band Little Moon, winners of the NPR Tiny Desk competition. They’ve toured the U.S., spreading their love for music.
