About Art After Dark - The MOA Gala at Brigham Young University (BYU) Museum of Art in Provo, Utah

The Brigham Young University (BYU) Museum of Art will host its first-ever MOA Gala on Friday, January 26, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

There will be music by Radio Retrogade, yummy Maglebey’s chocolate cake, and tasty food from the MOA Cafe. You can take pictures, participate in art activities, and showcase your style at the best-dressed competition.

The best part of the night? It’s the first time the museum will show off its newest exhibition, ‘Spain and the Hispanic World.’ You’ll see more than 150 artworks, relics, and antiquities!

This exhibition, curated by the Hispanic Society Museum and Library, offers a glimpse into Spain’s heritage. Some works you’ll witness include the prehistroic Iberian earthenware and masterpieces by iconic Spanish artists.

For the first time in Utah, this exhibition will leave you in awe of the richness of Spanish artistry.

Admission to this gala is open to all, and no prior booking is required. Formal attire is encouraged.

About the author of Move to Provo Utah Website

Katerina Gasset

When I moved here I was blessed to have my daughter to help with different things you need to know when you move to a new place. I had background from living here before but things have changed a lot too since the '80s.

We were able to get all the good places to eat down fast - since she knows all that and we have a lot of the same likes in food. But things like how to turn on my electricity or what power company services my home... well... I was at a total loss!

I know that other people moving to Provo don't always have family here to guide and help them. And most people don't have a real estate agent who gives them a welcome package on all the important numbers and places they need to know.

My goal is for this website to be your go to resource for everything you need to know before, during, and after you move here to Provo, Utah. I want you to have the best experience and love living here as much as I do
