“Silent Sky” will be produced at the Covey Center for the Arts at 425 West Center Street in Provo, Utah.
The Covey Center for the Arts will host the upcoming Silent Sky production from February 8 to March 4, 2024. This play tells the story of an astronomer named Henrietta Leavitt.
Henrietta worked at the Harvard Observatory, joining a group of brilliant women charting the stars. It was an era when women weren’t getting enough credit.
This play is also about Henrietta’s life. She had to balance her love for science and looking after her family. It’s a story about societal barriers faced by women during a time of scientific advancements.
Tickets cost $20, but if you’re a student, a senior, or a military personnel, you can get them for $18.
