About Singin’ in the Rain in Orem, Utah

The SCERA Center for Arts is presenting Singin’ in the Rain at the SCERA Shell Outdoor Theatre!

Singin’ in the Rain is not just any musical - it’s the “Greatest Movie Musical of All Time”! The Broadway legends, Betty Comden and Adolph Green, have done a faithful adaptation of the original for this production.

Singin’ in the Rain has it all. We’ve got romance, drama, and plenty of humor. The show takes us behind the scenes of Tinseltown and tells the story of a famous starlet, a leading man, and a love affair that could make or break their careers.

Lina Lamont has a voice that’s too squeaky for the new “talking pictures.” That’s when a bright young aspiring actress named Kathy is hired to record over Lina’s voice.

What makes this production a must-see is the amazing minds behind it. DeLayne Bluth Dayton is an incredibly talented director and music director while Lindsay Folkman is an exceptional choreographer.

I highly recommend you bring along your loved ones to share in the fun. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

So make sure you head over to SCERA website and grab your tickets ASAP.

Hope to see you there!

About the author of Move to Provo Utah Website

Katerina Gasset

When I moved here I was blessed to have my daughter to help with different things you need to know when you move to a new place. I had background from living here before but things have changed a lot too since the '80s.

We were able to get all the good places to eat down fast - since she knows all that and we have a lot of the same likes in food. But things like how to turn on my electricity or what power company services my home... well... I was at a total loss!

I know that other people moving to Provo don't always have family here to guide and help them. And most people don't have a real estate agent who gives them a welcome package on all the important numbers and places they need to know.

My goal is for this website to be your go to resource for everything you need to know before, during, and after you move here to Provo, Utah. I want you to have the best experience and love living here as much as I do
