I met our neighborhood Literary Guild ladies at the iconic Brick Oven Pizza restaurant in Provo Utah the other day. 

Brick Oven is located right next to the Brigham Young University campus. It is a super popular place to eat, especially for young families as it is cost effective and they have the option of the all-you-can-eat salad bar, pasta bar, and breadsticks. 

I ordered the salad bar and breadsticks. I didn’t order pizza this time. This is not the first time I have been to Brick Oven. When I bring my grandchildren out for Pizza, this is one of the restaurants I take them to. They get the pizza and the pasta bar.

Kent Heaps started a new restaurant in Provo, Utah, in 1956. He changed an old cafe into a pizza place called “Heaps A Pizza.” This restaurant later became known as Brick Oven Pizza. 

Brick Oven Pizza makes everything from scratch. Even today, they still make most of their food this way. Customers love their homemade Root Beer and their “Green” Ranch Dressing.
