About Family Concert Series: How to Feed Your Musical Dragon at Brigham Young University (BYU) in Provo, Utah

We’ve got something special coming up that you won’t want to miss. It’s the yearly “Family Concert Series: How to Feed Your Musical Dragon,” happening on Saturday, November 4th at 11:00 a.m. This event is fantastic because it’s brought to you by the Beverley Taylor Sorenson Foundation, and it’s all about making music accessible to families.

The cool part is it’s happening in the new BYU Music Building Concert Hall. That means you’ll be up close and personal with the musicians! But what sets this series apart is that it’s designed with the little ones in mind. Kids under eight years old can tag along!

The main event is about the BYU Philharmonic, led by the talented Nathan Haines. They will play tunes from the movie “How to Feed Your Dragon.”

While they play, you’ll get to watch scenes from the movie on the big screen. It’s like a live soundtrack to a movie night! To make it even more fun, you’ll have Rob Dunn from the School of Music narrating the program.

But wait, there’s more! The concert has exciting pieces like “Flight of the Bumblee” and “In the Hall of the Mountain King.” Here’s the best part: you won’t just be sitting in your seat. You get to take part in interactive activities like movements and musical maps.

Don’t miss out on this musical experience at the BYU Music Building Concert Hall!

About the author of Move to Provo Utah Website

Katerina Gasset

When I moved here I was blessed to have my daughter to help with different things you need to know when you move to a new place. I had background from living here before but things have changed a lot too since the '80s.

We were able to get all the good places to eat down fast - since she knows all that and we have a lot of the same likes in food. But things like how to turn on my electricity or what power company services my home... well... I was at a total loss!

I know that other people moving to Provo don't always have family here to guide and help them. And most people don't have a real estate agent who gives them a welcome package on all the important numbers and places they need to know.

My goal is for this website to be your go to resource for everything you need to know before, during, and after you move here to Provo, Utah. I want you to have the best experience and love living here as much as I do
