There’s nothing quite like waking up on the 4th of July and heading into downtown Provo to watch the Grand Parade, a beloved tradition and the largest parade in the Western United States! 🎉
Freedom Festival Grand Parade Event Details
Join us Thursday, July 4, 2025 at 9:00 AM along University Avenue and Center Street for a morning of high energy, heartfelt patriotism, and community connection.
The entertainment parade kicks off at 8:00 AM, followed by the main event at 9:00 AM.
What to Expect at the Freedom Festival Grand Parade 2025
- 🎺 Live marching bands from across the nation
- 🎈 Giant helium balloons floating above the crowds
- 🐎 Equestrian performers and local entertainment
- 🎷 Professionally crafted floats and dance performances
- Tributes to military heroes and first responders
📍 Parade Route Details: Starts at 1000 N. University Ave → South to 200 S. → East to 200 E. → North to Center St. → Ends at 900 E.
🎟️ Reserved Bleacher Seats:
- $10 each
- First sale day: June 2 (9am–2pm at the Utah Valley Convention & Visitors Bureau)
- After June 2: Available at the Freedom Festival Office (4626 N 300 W, Provo)
🚗 Parade Tips & Rules:
- Stake out your University Avenue viewing spot no earlier than July 3 at 3:00 PM
- Chairs, tents, or blankets on other route areas allowed only after July 4 at 5:00 AM
- Unattended items may be removed
- Vehicles on the parade route must be moved by 8:00 PM on July 3
- Portable toilets available every other block
