Stepping into the Provo City Library at Academy Square is like walking through the pages of history. Located at 550 North University Avenue, this building is not just a library but a historical landmark that has stood the test of time.
Fun Fact: This building was the first BYU - Brigham Young University before it was named BYU and moved to a different location!
Originally built in 1892 as the Brigham Young Academy, it has transformed over the years into the cultural heart of Provo. I always admire its beautiful Romanesque architecture, complete with turrets and arched windows, set against the backdrop of the Wasatch Mountains.
