About Slow Art Day in BYU here in Provo, Utah

Are you ready to slow down and really take in some beautiful artworks? Then don’t miss Slow Art Day at the BYU Museum of Art in Provo, Utah on April 15th!

Slow Art Day is an international event where people all over the world come together to appreciate and contemplate art.

At the BYU Museum of Art, we’ll be focusing on the Maynard Dixon: Searching for a Home and Of Souls and Sacraments exhibits. With handy guides provided by the Education Team, you’ll be able to see the art in a whole new light.

You’ll receive a free art print, a kid’s kaleidoscope, or a pocket magnifying glass for participating. How cool is that? Plus, if you arrive early, you might even be one of the lucky few to receive a gift card to the MOA Store.

But trust me, the real reward is the experience itself.

Taking a moment to really observe and connect with art can be so rewarding and inspiring. It’s a chance to slow down in our busy lives and appreciate the beauty and meaning around us.

So grab your art-loving friends and head on over to the BYU Museum of Art for a day of meaningful reflection and beautiful art.

Can’t wait to see you there!

About the author of Move to Provo Utah Website

Katerina Gasset

When I moved here I was blessed to have my daughter to help with different things you need to know when you move to a new place. I had background from living here before but things have changed a lot too since the '80s.

We were able to get all the good places to eat down fast - since she knows all that and we have a lot of the same likes in food. But things like how to turn on my electricity or what power company services my home... well... I was at a total loss!

I know that other people moving to Provo don't always have family here to guide and help them. And most people don't have a real estate agent who gives them a welcome package on all the important numbers and places they need to know.

My goal is for this website to be your go to resource for everything you need to know before, during, and after you move here to Provo, Utah. I want you to have the best experience and love living here as much as I do
