By Katerina Gasset

This is exciting news! They completed building Quail Orchard Park in Provo Utah, right down the street from my house and neighborhood!

The Quail Orchard Park is at 522 E 3900 N, Provo, UT 84604, USA.

About Quail Orchard Park in Provo Utah

The Quail Orchard Park in Provo, Utah, was born from the dreams and ideas of the community itself. A combined effort funded by development impact fees, Recreation, Arts and Parks Tax revenue, and even the city’s general fund brought this masterpiece to life.

The park wasn’t just designed by architects and city officials. It was a group effort that included the people living in the Timpview/Edgemont area.

Think of contemporary-style pavilions, adventure-packed playgrounds with bridges, family-friendly restrooms, and walking paths. Let’s not forget the four pickleball courts just waiting for some friendly competition!

This park isn’t just an open space. It symbolizes community spirit, forward-thinking design, and a commitment to making life awesome for everyone in Provo.

No wonder Provo Parks and Recreation bagged the 2021 National Gold Medal Award for Excellence in Park and Recreation Management!

Quail Orchard Park Amenities

Quail Orchard Park in Provo, Utah, opened its doors to the community on September 28th, 2023! This park is huge, like 7.5 acres, and it’s special because everyone pitched in to make it amazing.

The park has four awesome pavilions where you can chill, have picnics, or throw a celebration. Pickleball fans alert! There are 4 pickleball courts.

The park has three playgrounds for kids! They’re built for different ages and have everything from swings to slides and climbing structures. It’s a safe and exciting environment for kids to let their imaginations run wild. I can’t wait to take my grandchildren here when summer comes!

They’ve made sure there are nice restrooms too! They’re separate for men and women and fit right in with the park’s design.

However, Quail Orchard Park isn’t just a place for play. It’s a haven for the community to hang out and have a great time together. There’s plenty of space for recreational activities, social gatherings, and moments of relaxation. Plus, there are trees and pathways for leisurely strolls or running around.

More Than Just a Park

As a local, I've seen how Quail Orchard Park brings our community together. It's not just about the physical amenities; it's about creating a space where neighbors become friends. You'll see families enjoying picnics, kids playing tag, and folks of all ages engaged in pickleball matches. This park is where memories are made, and it’s amazing to have it right in our backyard.

Events and Activities

What's even more exciting is the lineup of events planned at Quail Orchard Park. From outdoor movie nights to yoga in the park, there's always something happening. The park also hosts seasonal events, like the spooky Halloween trail last October and a magical winter lights display last December.

Eco-Friendly and Sustainable

In keeping with Provo's commitment to sustainability, Quail Orchard Park is designed with the environment in mind. The park uses energy-efficient lighting and has a state-of-the-art irrigation system to conserve water. Even the playgrounds are made from eco-friendly materials!

Community's Pride

When I visited Quail Orchard Park before the winter season, I felt a sense of pride in what our community has achieved. This park is a testament to what we can accomplish when we come together. It's a place that celebrates our city's culture, natural beauty, and commitment to the well-being of its residents.

Quail Orchard Park: An Excellent Outdoor Space in Provo Utah

As a Provo local and a fan of outdoor spaces, I can't help but rave about Quail Orchard Park. It's more than a park; it's a community hub where friendships are formed, families bond, and everyone can enjoy the beauty of Provo.

About the author of Move to Provo Utah Website

Katerina Gasset

When I moved here I was blessed to have my daughter to help with different things you need to know when you move to a new place. I had background from living here before but things have changed a lot too since the '80s.

We were able to get all the good places to eat down fast - since she knows all that and we have a lot of the same likes in food. But things like how to turn on my electricity or what power company services my home... well... I was at a total loss!

I know that other people moving to Provo don't always have family here to guide and help them. And most people don't have a real estate agent who gives them a welcome package on all the important numbers and places they need to know.

My goal is for this website to be your go to resource for everything you need to know before, during, and after you move here to Provo, Utah. I want you to have the best experience and love living here as much as I do
