About World Folkfest 2023 in Springville, Utah

This year’s festival promises to be the biggest folk dance festival in the United States, and you definitely don’t want to miss it. Imagine over 200 talented folk dancers from 10 countries coming together to showcase their rich cultures, heritage, and traditions.

But there’s more to World Folkfest than just performances. You will be able to indulge in international cuisines from the cultural food truck area. It’s the perfect chance to take your taste buds on a culinary journey around the globe.

Don’t forget to visit the craft vendors, where you can find unique souvenirs or mementos to take home.

I love that World Folkfest isn’t just an average festival. It’s an opportunity to connect with people from different corners of the globe and bridge cultural gaps.

The festival has a rich history, dating back to 1986. Throughout the years, it has hosted over a hundred diverse folk ensembles from around the world.

This year, you’ll have the chance to experience captivating performances from countries like Bolivia, China, Czech Republic, Latvia, Mexico, Serbia, the Lakota Nation, and more.

That’s not all - the local Native American and clogging groups will also grace the stage, showcasing their talents alongside the international performers.

I highly recommend getting your tickets to World Folkfest as soon as possible. You can get an adult ticket for just $14 and a kid’s ticket for only $5.

Seniors, military personnel, and students (ages 13 and up) can enjoy the festival for a discounted price of $12. You can also go for the family pass at $45, which includes 2 adults and up to 4 children under 18. Each additional child is just $5.

If you want to play a more active role in the festival, why not volunteer? There’s a wide range of volunteer opportunities available, and it’s an excellent way to contribute to the success of this event.

About the author of Move to Provo Utah Website

Katerina Gasset

When I moved here I was blessed to have my daughter to help with different things you need to know when you move to a new place. I had background from living here before but things have changed a lot too since the '80s.

We were able to get all the good places to eat down fast - since she knows all that and we have a lot of the same likes in food. But things like how to turn on my electricity or what power company services my home... well... I was at a total loss!

I know that other people moving to Provo don't always have family here to guide and help them. And most people don't have a real estate agent who gives them a welcome package on all the important numbers and places they need to know.

My goal is for this website to be your go to resource for everything you need to know before, during, and after you move here to Provo, Utah. I want you to have the best experience and love living here as much as I do
