As a self-proclaimed foodie, I am excited to try out all the amazing restaurants in Provo/Orem, and Ombu Grill has become one of my favorites.
Ombu Grill All You Can Eat Korean BBQ is a popular all-you-can-eat restaurant near Provo (Orem), offering a wide variety of authentic, a high-quality Korean BBQ menu.
I first discovered Ombu Grill during one of my sons’ birthdays. I wanted to take him to a restaurant close to us in Provo, Utah, but we didn’t want the typical burger joint and no pizza.
Carnivores love their meat, and so do my sons and most of my daughters too.
What better place to have fun and eat all the meats you want than a Korean BBQ!
Does Ombu Grill take reservations?
Yes, I made reservations at Ombu Grill All You Can Eat Korean BBQ on State Street in Orem. You can simply click the Reservation button at the upper left corner of their website's homepage.

Everything is served family style. You are given some little plates, chopsticks, tongs, and a pair of scissors to cut your meat.
We started with two appetizers, as we wanted to keep our bellies empty for the meats we were planning to order.
We ordered Korean-style fried dumplings. These are soft, yet a bit crunchy on the outside, and have great flavor on the inside. We also ordered the fried shrimp, which was also pretty good. Next time, I would save the room for more grilled meats.
My granddaughter wanted fried rice. I absolutely loved the Kimchi fried rice! Just the right tang and a nice reddish color from the kimchi. Yummy!
You order from the menu and the servers bring each plate of food to your table. Then you share, adding some of each food item to your little plate and pass it around.
We ordered the pork belly, the sirloin steak, and the beef tongue first.
The waitress came over to our table and lit our grill for us. We waited for it to get hot.
Then you use your tongs to add the meats to the grill and cook them to your liking.
The beef tongue was excellent! The pork belly was delicious. The sirloin steak was cooked exactly how I like it.
The next round of orders we ordered:
The prime beef brisket, Ombu signature beef tenderloin, Hawaiian beef steak, and Korean beef bulgogi (super yummy).
The prime beef brisket was so juicy and flavorful, with a perfect smoky taste. It was a big hit, so I’m sure you’ll all love it.
The Ombu signature beef tenderloin was also really good – it had a nice richness to it we all enjoyed. And the Hawaiian beef steak had this amazing sweet and savory glaze that made it irresistible.
But the best dish had to be the Korean beef bulgogi.
After that, we ordered the spicy pork belly, the cajun shrimp, and the Kimchi soft tofu soup pot.
If you can’t tell by now, I love my kimchi! I bought a huge container from Costco, kept it in my refrigerator, and eat it with most of my dinners.
We were quite full by this time. I missed being able to order the beef stone bibimbap - which is also one of my favorite Korean dishes. But we were too stuffed to order any more food. Oh well, maybe next time.
Since it was my son’s birthday, the waitress brought him a mango mochi with cream on top and a candle in the middle! So fun! Then they played the happy birthday song over their speaker system. We all sang along. We clapped and cheered as he blew out the candle. It was quite the nice touch to the end of this amazing dinner.
We love to eat steak tar-tar, but I don’t recommend you eat the steak raw at Ombu. You don’t know how cold they keep the meats in the cooler.

Ombu Grill Dine In Reminders
There are some rules to follow.
Ombu Korean restaurant does not like you to waste food. DO NOT order more than you can eat.
Although it is one price for all you can eat, make sure to eat all they bring to you, or you will get charged for what you waste.
You are allowed to order 4 items at a time per person. We were a party of 4 and I made my own rule; only order one item per person at a time to make sure we could eat it all.
Remember, your eyes will be larger than your stomach!
Review- 5 Stars

In Southern California, they have some of the best Korean restaurants I have ever been to.
I knew it would be tough to find a contender here in Provo and Orem.
But we did.
I highly recommend making reservations at Ombu Grill. They offer an all you can eat buffet-style Korean BBQ, and it’s definitely some of the best I’ve had.
