Provo Bakery: Best Bakery in Provo Utah

A few months after I moved to Provo, I went to our ward’s fall party in the cultural hall at our Stake center. It was a chili cook-off, and we also had a large variety of delicious soups, pot-luck style. 

I grabbed a soft homestyle dinner roll. I took one bite and was hooked! It was the MOST fabulously delicious homestyle dinner roll I have tasted.

I needed to know who made them! I found out they were freshly made by Provo Bakery. What an incredible discovery! I can’t wait to go there and try some of their unique creations! 

Then for dessert, we had mounds and mounds of Maple Donut Bars. I am SUPER picky about donuts. When it comes to donuts, I have VERY specific tastes. 

In all my years of tasting donuts, the only ones I have ever enjoyed have been from Krispy Kreme, and ONLY when their red light is on! If the glazed donuts are not fresh from their ovens, I don’t buy or eat them.

Since donuts are not the healthiest food choice ;), I became very picky about the donuts I would eat. They must be delicious, soft, and moist to bite into one. 

Well, the Provo Bakery converted me into loving their maple bars! These are the most delicious donuts on the planet. In fact, they are so delicious, I will not buy any other donuts. If it is not from Provo Bakery, I don’t eat them. 

The Provo Bakery is a small family-owned bakery. Because they are so good and popular, they run out of baked goods during the morning rush.

But even making a short trip to the Provo Bakery in the early afternoon, you will still find something yummy to buy and eat. 

I order the dinner rolls in advance to ensure I have enough for our special dinners and events. It’s much easier than running out of them at the last minute! 

I also pre-order the maple bars. Every time I have been inside the bakery to pick up my orders or to pop in and get a fresh bakery item- I see they are almost always out of maple bars. This is no wonder since they are to die for delicious. 

So what else is so delicious at the Provo Bakery? 

The cinnamon rolls are so yummy. And the best part is they are made in a little cupcake-style holder. The cream cheese frosting is just enough, not too much. There are loads of cinnamon in a soft center, my favorite part! These cinnamon rolls are the perfect comfort food for me! 

You can’t order or leave Provo Bakery without trying their special recipe Croissants! I always get the same thing: a cream-filled Croissant. But you can always order the classic one. 

I also love the apple fritters and apple turnovers at Provo Bakery. 

How Provo Bakery Started 

Provo Bakery in Provo, Utah, has been delighting the local community for years with its delicious freshly-baked goods. Every day at 2 a.m., the bakers are already creating a wide selection of cookies, pastries, pies, and other baked treats.

Mark still runs the bakery with a skilled team of bakers, fryers, decorators and service crew who bring you sweetness every day. In addition to these core players, many behind-the-scenes workers keep the bakery running smoothly on a daily basis.

Unlike many other bakeries in the area, Provo Bakery offers great discounts on all dozen orders, which makes it easy for customers to get a great deal on multiple items at once. They offer 10% off for churches, schools, military personnel and servicemen. 

Not only are they known for their classic sweets such as cupcakes, cookies and cakes, but they also specialize in custom orders including donuts. 

One unique service Provo Bakery offers is its deliveries to missionaries at the MTC in nearby Provo. For just $5, you can send an assortment of goods to your missionary, so they can enjoy a tasty treat. 

Not only does Provo Bakery offer tasty treats for its customers onsite, but it also provides delivery services for orders over $10. With a small delivery fee, you can get your goodies without leaving home. The best bakery outside of San Francisco I have ever been to. Provo Bakery was always a place where people could go to get a sweet treat. This bakery is full of “to die for” delicious homemade-style baked goods and desserts. Their bread is delicious, and they have the best selection of pastries in Provo! 

Don’t feel like making a pie? Order your pies from Provo Bakery. You won’t be disappointed. 

I used to make homestyle dinner rolls. It was a lot of work. I would have to rise early and start the dough, let it rise, then shape it into rolls and put them in the oven. And I knew I could never get the same rolls twice because they always turned out differently. 

Then I discovered Provo Bakery. They make dinner rolls exactly the way I want them – smooth, soft, and fluffy! 

It is so easy for me to order them online and pick them up at the store. There is never any delay in getting my order, and I never have to worry about the rolls turning out differently than I wanted them to.
